    1. You have a basic energy hygiene practice (learned in Energy Body Mastery) you’ve been practicing for at least a year during which you tend your grounding, central channel, boundaries, truth cord, etc.

    2. You have completed successful clearings as defined in Energy Body Clearing and have a regular clearing practice.

    3. You have a basic level of proficiency with journeying (Christina Pratt's journeying courseor equivalent). This includes entering a trance state with a sonic driver (often a drum or rattle), connecting with a trusted helping spirit, asking a question, receiving the answer, interpreting the answer, taking action based on the answer and evaluating your results.

    4. You have the basic capacity to navigate your inner landscape and be in relationship with what’s there. This means you have a stable enough sense of self to bring your current self into conscious relationship with other parts of yourself.

We have the confidence in your ability to examine whether the Threshold Process is for you. Check in with your inner knowing to see if you are ready for this next step. If in doubt check in with your truth cord and helping spirits. A journey question could include: “Show me how taking the Threshold Process in 2026 will serve my capacity to live my soul’s purpose at this time.”

If you do not know if you have met the requirements, and/or are feeling uncertain if you are ready, feel free to reach out to info@thecyclecommunity.org with your questions.

  • In the few months before the Threshold Process, there will be three online classes offered by Christina Pratt to assist in your preparation that are required prior to joining the Threshold immersion in person. Additionally, check out Other Resources for optional reading that can begin to root you into an animist framework and awaken the longing for a robust community self.

Please note that our community takes a winter break each year from mid-December to mid-January. We use this time to pause community work, connect with each other through ritual, artmaking and storytelling and engage in deep restorative yin cultivation to resource the year ahead. We will respond to all emails when we return the week of January 19th.

    • Payment plans may be an option. All retreats must be paid in full before the retreat starts.

  • The Threshold Process is a test designed in co-creation with Spirit to meet you wherever you are currently, without judgment, blame, or shame. In this sense it is a real gate into the next phase of the teachings tended by the Spirits of the Cosmology and human teachers. The process will help you assess if you are ready to enter into the Cycle of Transformation and the Cycle Community, and if they are right for you at this time.

The process includes prep beforehand, the in-person immersion and group mentorship support in the two months afterward.

By the end of the two months post-immersion, the teachers facilitating the process will help you know whether or not you made it through the Threshold. If you do not, you will still receive valuable experiences that support you in cultivating your animist and community self. In addition, teachers will share with you next steps you can take if you wish to become ready to enter the Cycle of Transformation.

  • The Threshold Process is a test designed in co-creation with Spirit to meet you wherever you are currently, without judgment, blame, or shame.

People who have experienced the western education system tend to bring a lot of baggage to the word “test”. In an animist context, a test is a diagnostic tool and an experience that you learn from.

In this sense it is a real gate into the next phase of the teachings tended by the Spirits of the Cosmology and human teachers. The process will help you assess if you are ready to enter into the Cycle of Transformation and the Cycle Community, and if they are right for you at this time.

  • After the two months post Threshold Process immersion, if you have successfully made it through the process, you will receive an invitation to join the Cycle Community and register for Masks of Illusion and the Authentic Self*. This is the first retreat of the Cycle of Transformation. The Cycle of Transformation is held in community and all participants serve in the non-local Cycle Community.

*If you have already taken Cycle retreats in the past you can take whatever your next retreat is, you don’t have to start the process over.

  • The Threshold Process is the first step to be eligible for taking Cycle of Transformation Retreats. After you successfully pass through the Threshold you can take the next retreat in the sequence for you or repeat retreats you have already taken. If you completed the eldership process, you do not need to take the Threshold Process to qualify for retreats.

  • The Threshold Process will be offered yearly. The next Threshold will take place April 26 - May 1, 2027.

  • It will not be possible to participate remotely in the Threshold Process this year.

  • We deeply believe that healing and transformation should be accessible to all, and we hold this value close to our hearts.

We currently offer a limited number of scholarships for BIPOC participants through our BIPOC scholarship fund. If you identify as BIPOC and would like to explore receiving support, we warmly invite you to reach out to us at info@thecyclecommunity.org so we can walk you through what that process looks like.

For anyone who is feeling called to this work and needs financial support to attend The Threshold Process, here are some ways folx have found a path forward:

    • Setting an intention for attending and sharing it with Spirit

    • Clarifying the specific dollar amount of support you need and asking Spirit

    • Letting your communities know

    • Making and selling art or offering your skills and gifts to others, directing funds received towards your tuition

If you would like to brainstorm further, you can contact us at info@thecyclecommunity.org.

  • If you would like to donate to support others in participating in the Threshold Process and Cycle retreats, please consider our BIPOC scholarship fund.

Now more than ever, we need communities to embody the diversity that makes our human family inherently creative, and rich with potential to manifest a world our descendants will be proud to inherit. We can no longer afford to dream apart.

All levels of generosity are warmly welcome. No amount is too small. If you cannot offer financial support, we appreciate your good thoughts and prayers; may BIPOC who want these teachings join the Threshold Process and Cycle of Transformation retreats with ease, joy, and in right timing.

Let us know at info@thecyclecommunity.org if you would like to donate or offer support in an alternative way to the BIPOC fund.

  • COVID PRECAUTIONS

The below protocol was created to support us being able to do good work together. To not follow these protocols puts everyone at risk. Please take the below precautions as an act of care for everyone in your cohort, our caterers, your teachers and our community. This is one way we lean into our community selves.

    COVID PROTOCOL:

    • Please be extra cautious in the five days leading up to travel. Consider quarantining, especially from high-risk public areas (restaurants, bars, public bathrooms and really any public indoor space) or at least masking when navigating them. Masking whenever possible in high population areas and during your travel (especially if you are flying) is highly recommended.

    • Please take a Covid test the morning before you travel to confirm your status.

    • When you arrive, we will have tests onsite for you to test with again before you enter the Art Farm. The house assistant will be available outside the garage to help you administer them.

    • Wearing masks during the retreat is welcome but not required. This protocol might change when COVID cases are surging or if a participant gets sick during the retreat.

      • Masks will be available on hand or you can bring your own.

      • Covid tests will be available onsite for illnesses that may occur during the retreat.

    • Please connect with the house assistant if you feel sick or have concerns about Covid during the retreat.

    • If a participant ends up testing positive for COVID upon arrival or during the retreat, they will not be able to complete the retreat and will not be able to stay at the Art Farm. We will have a list of nearby hotels on hand, and the house assistant will be available to help with finding a place to quarantine.

    • Please let us know if you are having any COVID symptoms before arriving onsite or if you develop them during the retreat including...

      1. Temperature 99.6 degrees Fahrenheit or higher

      2. New onset of severe headache

      3. Loss of taste or smell

      4. Muscle or body aches

      5. Fatigue (including tiredness)

      6. Shortness of breath, difficulty breathing, painful breathing

      7. Diarrhea, vomiting, or abdominal pain

      8. New uncontrolled cough that causes difficulty breathing

      9. Sore throat

Following these protocols likely requires experiencing some moments of discomfort for each of us. We live in times where divesting from the oppressive systems harming all life on Earth will require leaning into discomfort as we work to support each other through these big transitions.

Remember to use your skills and hold your center and focus on the vision of what we're coming together to do this week. We invite you to offer these choices consciously as a sacrifice that helps create new possibilities for our shared vision moving into the world.

Please reach out to info@thecyclecommunity.org with any concerns you may have about Covid before the retreat.
